Monday morning worship...
Every Monday morning we hold a worship service, conducted mostly by the students (totally in Kiswahili.) It is a great time of praise and worship in, what is called here, the Heavenly Language (many jokingly say that when we reach Heaven, Jesus will greet us with "Habari gani?" (What kind of news is there?) and if you don't respond with the proper, "Nzuri sana!" (Very Good!) we may be turned away.) HA! HA! :)
Anyway, October 16th is my (Kyle) week to preach, totally in Kiswahili. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to go before me that I may say all that He wants me to say to this group of students and teachers and that he may give me His confidence while sharing His Word.
Preaching the week of 10/16 sounds like a challenge. Preaching in a language that I can't even pronouce the name of....wow! Praying for you guys. The pics look great. sj
