Tea fields of Kenya...

The number one export of Kenya is tea. With over 600,000 pickers throughout the country, Kenya's tea is exported all over the world. Only the top growth is picked on each tea plant, meaning that only two leaves and a bud are picked on each branch. Each plant is gone back to and re-picked every 10 to 14 days. A tea plant can live well over 100 years, and a skilled picker can pick 100 Kilos of tea per day.
