All 80's...all the time...
Do you long for the stylings of Cyndi Lauper, Luther Vandross, REO Speedwagon, Tina Turner or Eddie Money? Do you have an uncontrollable urge to return to the days of countless numbers of nameless, one-hit-wonder hair bands? Maybe you’re looking for a copy of We are the World on cassette?
Move to Kenya where it’s … all 80’s all the time.
Seriously, just about the only radio station our car stereo gets is a Christian/Swahili/80’s station. Yesterday I went from listening to news in Swahili, to Casting Crowns, then right into a little ditty from Cyndi Lauper, and right back to some Michael W. Smith. Really, what more could you ask for? It’s the best of both worlds – classic 80’s music and up-to-date, contemporary Christian music.
I guess when Paul said, “The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” He wasn’t talking about classic music from the 80’s – which may very well last throughout the millennial reign of Christ. :)

You're just a groovy kinda guy. Wait a minute..that's the 60's. Listening to the 80's is not nearly as painful as listening to and watching 80's music on infomercials. You know Time-Life 80's music collection. I see the weather in Nairobi is finally getting warmer. Enjoy it.
